THE BEGINNING (1994-2000) AND LATEST FIGURATIVE CANVAS

 

 

 

At the beginning (1994-2000) the Adler’s picture was almost based on human figure, using a representation closed to the surrealist movement.


The combination of things, people or situation far away each other is useful for the painter to keep, for the people who look, the freedom of expound and connect the several parts of his works.

For Adler the human figure is almost always the women. She becomes the symbol of humanity and her nakedness is to be understood as means to emphasize the fragility of the man or to point out the purity of origin in order to fix the equality between the subjects of the same picture.

 

 

This first period has been modified to be a real stylistics maturity, where the figure has been shared and it joins in letters, numbers, illegible sentences up to make a personal alphabet that in some of his works it seams to create mysterious rebus with obscure meaning.

 

 

In these pictures the atmosphere is gloomy and quiet wait, without any movement if it’s only inner.
These figures, changed in the shapes or without exact description, are examples of incomplete man and they especially refer to the modern man, with his upset condition because the society steals his subjectivity and it tries to conform him to the others.

  Adler, who points out the human relationship, complains own freedom and independence of drawing using his pictures.
He suggest us, with his visions, to get estranged from rational and false situation that takes progressively away from our individuality up to rise the aridness to be a lofty virtue.
